The Wachau World Heritage Trail with ist 14 stages (180 km) presents the diversity of the dreamlike World Heritage region. And the connection between the two, the long-distance hiking trail Nibelungengau from Sarmingstein to Emmersdorf (main route 110 km), offers cultural hikers magnificent panoramas on 8 stages and 34 additional circular routes. The city walking trails in Vienna run through the Wienerwald or other local recreation areas.
