Post Convention to Esterházy Castle and Esztergom

On the first day of the post convention, the group went to Majk to see the former Camaldolese hermits and then to Esterházy Castle. The Esterházy family is one of the most influential noble families in Hungary, with a history stretching back to the 13th century.
On the second day, the visitors immersed themselves in the history of Esztergom, one of the oldest cities in Hungary. The city is home to numerous important museums, libraries and archives. The Christian Museum and the cathedral treasury are particularly important. The cathedral library is the oldest, richest and largest ecclesiastical library in Hungary.
