7. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics use so-called cookies, in other words, text files that are saved on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities for the website operators, and to render further services connected with website use and Internet use. The ARGE uses this data solely to optimize its website and to conduct market research. Moreover, Google may possibly send this information to third parties if so required under law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. For further information on Google Analytics, please visit the Internet address www.google.com/analytics

The ARGE attaches great importance to data protection. For this reason, we use the "_anonymizeIp()" function, which further processes IP addresses only in an abbreviated form, thereby ruling out any direct personal reference. As a website user, you can opt out of the collection and saving of your data at any time with effect for the future. Further, you can completely prohibit tracking. To do so, click on the "Deactivate" button. For the opt-out to be permanent, your browser must accept cookies. Alternatively, you can opt out of data collection by using a Google browser plug-in: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

8. Use of Facebook plug-ins
On this website, use is made of plug-ins of the social network facebook.com - operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook").

If you open one of our Internet website's Internet pages containing one of these plug-ins, a connection is established with the Facebook servers and the plug-in is displayed on the Internet page by means of a message to your browser. This tells the Facebook server which of our Internet pages you visited. If you are logged-in as a member of Facebook, this information is allocated by Facebook to your personal Facebook user account. If you use plug-in functions (e.g. by clicking on "Like" buttons or writing a comment), this information is also allocated to your Facebook account. The only way to prevent this from happening is to log out before you use the plug-in.

For detailed information about data collection and use by Facebook and about the associated rights and possibilities you have to protect your privacy, refer to the statements by Facebook on its data protection policy at www.facebook.com/policy.php.

9. Use of the +1 button
This website uses the +1 button of the social network Google Plus, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). If you call up one of our Internet website's web pages featuring a button of this kind, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Google servers.

The content of the +1 button is sent by Google directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the web page. We therefore have no influence on the scope of data Google collects with this button but we assume your IP address is among the data collected. To find out the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of this data by Google as well as the associated rights and possible settings you have to protect your privacy, please read the statements on data protection policy by Google regarding the "+1" button: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html. If you are a Google Plus member and do not want Google to collect data concerning you through our Internet website and to link that data to your member data saved at Google, you have to log out of Google Plus before visiting our Internet website.

Privacy Policy

Scope of application

This privacy policy enlightens users on the scope and purposes of personal data collection and use by the responsible service provider on this website (hereinafter called "online services"). The legal foundations for data protection are in the Federal Act concerning the Protection of Personal Data (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data/server log files

The provider (or his web space provider) collects data about each access to the online services (in what are known as server log files). The access data includes: name of website, file called up, date and time of the call-up, transmitted data quantity, message on successful call-up, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the page previously visited), IP addresses and the inquiring provider. The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purposes of operations, security, and the optimization of the online services. However, the provider reserves the right to conduct a subsequent check of the log data if concrete evidence leads to the justified suspicion of an unlawful use.

Treatment of personal data

Personal data is information that helps identify a person, in other words, information that can be traced back to a person. It includes a person's name, e-mail address or telephone number. But personal data also includes data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or the websites a person has watched. Personal data is collected, used and passed on by the provider only if this is permitted by law or the users agree to the collection of data.

Contact

If a user contacts the provider (e.g. with a contact form or by e-mail), the user's details are saved in order to process the inquiry and in case there are follow-up questions.

Newsletter

With the newsletter, we inform you about us and our online services. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we need you to give us a valid e-mail address as well as information that lets us verify that you are the owner of the indicated e-mail address or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. This data is only used for sending the newsletter and is not divulged to third parties. When you register for the newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of your registration. The sole reason we save this data is as evidence in case a third party misuses an e-mail address and registers to have the newsletter sent without the knowledge of the authorized person. You can revoke at any time your consent to the saving of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter. You can submit the revocation with a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area or by sending a message to the possible contact points indicated above.

Integration of services and content of third parties

It can happen that content of third parties, e.g. YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, is integrated in these online services. This integration always requires the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") to be aware of the users' IP address. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus required in order to display this content. We endeavor to use only content the respective provider of which uses the IP address exclusively to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on the third-party provider saving the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. To the extent that we are aware of this happening, we apprise the users.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that enable specific information related to the user's access device (PC, smart phone and the like) to be saved. Their purpose is, on the one hand, to make websites more user friendly and thereby serve users (e.g. by saving their log-in data). On the other hand, their purpose is to enable the collection of statistical data on website use and the analysis of this data in order to improve the online services. The users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that restricts the saving of cookies or prevents it altogether. However, it is noted that the use of the website and especially the convenience of this use are limited without cookies. The US website http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ assist you in managing many online advertising cookies of companies.

Advertising cookies

Advertising cookies are cookies that are used in order to tailor advertising more closely to the interests of the given user. They remind users if they have already visited a website. They are often linked to the functionality of the website. We use these cookies to analyze your browse behavior and to be able to offer you relevant advertising that matches your interests.

Interest-based advertising

If you have cookies activated in your browser, we present advertising messages to you that are related to our website. Google and third-party providers show our advertising messages on multiple web pages. If you have cookies activated in your browser, you can see advertising messages for this website on other web pages. If you would like to opt out of the interest-based advertising service, you are asked to visit the Network Advertising website http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/, where you can opt out.

Google Analytics

These online services use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are saved on users' computers and that enable use of the website to be analyzed. Google Remarketing also uses "cookies", text files that are saved on your computer to enable better targeted ads to be run. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website by the users is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, the IP address of the users is shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting parties of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. It is only in exceptional cases that the full IP address is sent to a server of Google in the USA and shortened there. Our website has the IP anonymization process activated. By order of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyze the use of the website by the users, to compile reports about website activities and to render further services connected with website use and Internet use for the website operator. The IP address sent by your browser in connection with Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The users can prevent cookies from being saved by entering a corresponding setting in their browser software. However, these online services point out to users that this setting may prevent them from making full use of all functions of the website under certain circumstances. Moreover, the users can prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the website (incl. their IP address) from being collected and sent to Google and from being processed by Google if they download and install the browser plug-in available through the link below: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, click on "Deactivate" to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data within this website in the future. An opt-out cookie is placed in your device in the process. If you delete your cookies, you must click this link again.

Piwik

These online services use Piwik, an open-source software for the statistical evaluation of user access to the site. Piwik uses so-called cookies, text files that are saved on the users' computers and that enable the use of the website by the users to be analyzed. The information on the use of these online services as generated by the cookie is saved on the provider's server in Germany. The IP address is rendered anonymous immediately after being processed and before being saved. Users can prevent cookies from being installed by entering a corresponding setting in their browser software. However, the provider points out to users that this setting may prevent them from being able to make full use of all functions of the website under certain circumstances.

Use of social plug-ins from Facebook

These online services use social plug-ins ("plug-ins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plug-ins are identifiable on one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile or a "Thumb's up" sign) or are marked with the addendum "Facebook Social Plug-in". The list and appearance of the Facebook social plug-ins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. If a user call up a web page of this service provider containing this plug-in, the user's browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is sent by Facebook directly to the user's browser, which then integrates it into the web page. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plug-in and therefore informs the user according to the knowledge it does have: On integrating the plug-in, Facebook obtains the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the online services. If the user is logged into Facebook, then Facebook can allocated the visit to the user's Facebook account. If users with the plug-ins interact, e.g. by pressing the like button or writing a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted from their browsers directly to Facebook and saved there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, it is still possible for Facebook to find out the user's IP address and save it. According to Facebook, only one anonymized IP address is saved in Germany. To find out the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of this data by Facebook as well as the associated rights and possible settings for protecting the users' privacy, users can consult the Data Policy of Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you are a user who is a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data concerning you through these online services and to link that data to your member data saved at Facebook, you have to log out of Facebook before visiting the Internet website. It is also possible to block Facebook social plug-ins with add-ons for your browser, for instance with the "Facebook Blocker".

+1 button of Google+

These online services use the +1 button of the social network Google Plus, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). The button is identifiable from the +1 character on a white or colored backdrop. If you call up a web page of these online services that contains this plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Google servers. The content of the +1 button is sent by Google directly to your browser, which integrates it in the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Google collects with this button. According to Google, no personal data is collected without a click on the button. Data such as the IP address is collected and processed only for logged-in members. To find out the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of this data by Google as well as the associated rights and possible settings users have to protect their privacy, users can consult Google's buttons policy with regard to the +1 button: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html and the FAQs: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+1/button/.

Twitter

These online services use the buttons of Twitter. These buttons are made available by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They are linked to concepts such as "twitter" or "follow'" and identifiable by a stylized blue bird. These buttons can be used to share a post or a page of these online services on Twitter or to follow the service provider on Twitter. If users call up a web page of this Internet website containing a button like this, their browser establishes a direct connection with the Twitter servers. The content of the Twitter buttons is sent by Twitter directly to the user's browser. The service provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Twitter collects with the help of this plug-in and therefore informs the users based on what it does know: After that, only the user's IP address is sent along with the URL of the given web page on obtaining the button but is not used for any purpose other than to show the button. Further information can be found in the Twitter Privacy Policy at http://twitter.com/privacy.

On request, users have the right to obtain information free of charge regarding the personal data saved with respect to them. In addition, users have the right to correct incorrect data, to block and delete their personal data unless doing so would run counter to a legal duty to save records.
