Artificial intelligence & visitor guidance

Guido Sommer is professor of business administration and marketing in tourism at Kempten University. In his lecture, he first describes the challenges of overcrowding at certain POIs, defines terms related to visitor management and then addresses the potential for visitor management. Finally, an example will be shown of what a functioning AI-based visitor management system could look like and what challenges still need to be solved on the way there.
